Starting a new job is definitely nothing easy however my first 6-7 months at Monday Media have been a blast!

After finishing up my degree at SAE I was so keen and eager to get started and jump straight into the design industry, and thanks to Paul I was able to get my foot in the door and start my career.

I started part-time at Monday Media, getting to grips with how the office, projects and the team worked, and most importantly learning how to use the web building platform, Editor X. After hours of tutorials, annoying Steve with all my questions and just jumping in there and being creative, I now have 7 websites under my belt and work full time as a web developer. I still have loads to learn but I would now say that I'm definitely very confident with my skills and abilities on Editor X.

The past 6 months have flown by and I’ve loved every minute! I've enjoyed working with the team (Paul, Steve and Chula), all the games of spoof (Spoof is a strategy game played by the team to decide who makes coffees) and I've loved all the projects I’ve been able to work on.

Every website and logo I’ve designed so far has been unique, allowing me to learn new skills and be creative with every job I undertake.

Being just 20 years old it still feels unreal that I’ve been able to get into the industry this early and get my career started straight after SAE. I'm so thankful for this opportunity and proud that I’ve been able to take it and run with it. I'm looking forward to my future with Monday Media and continuing to grow and improve as a Graphic Designer and Web Developer.
